Works Very Good On Screened-In-Porch
Your review: Bought cooler for use on porch. It works very good in our Texas heat. We have low humidity so this unit performs very well.
The water connection valve could be improved, it leaked when I first hooked up the hose. I replaced the factory washer with a better one and added a quick coupler to my hose and it works fine now. Keep the water presure low to the unit or the valve will leak.
I am very please with this cooler would recommend it for anyone in a low humidity area.
You mention "commercial or industrial" use. Can this unit be used inside a small home (700 sq ft)??

Hello Lynette, Yes you can though this typically would involve leaving a large window or door open and the unit positioned near this area so that it could pull fresh air. If the unit is placed in an enclosed area and there is not enough air flow or circulation, it will recycle the same air over and over and add humidity back each time. There is not a maximum or minimum in square footage, but they typically work as a spot cooler, so the units are usually set up to blow on the area that is needed to be cooled. Whomever the fan blows on will receive the cooling effect. Thank you for your interest in our product!
If this unit is running daily how often will the pads need to be changed?
