Your review: We just finished assemblying the Jib Crane and I was very impressed on some of the attention to detail on the unit such as a bearings on the wire pully turning blocks and a bearing on the bottom of the swivel plate to help rotate the jib arm. A grease zerk for that bearing as well. This is definately worth every dollar. I doubt that I could have purchased the materials for what I paid for this unit.
Good cranel, but several fit & finish problems!
Your review: This is a decent quality, manual winch jib-crane; mounting in 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks will likely require load-spreading pads below the bed to spread out the weight. I used a 28"x18" 3/8" HR steel plate and a tapped 12"x12" 1/2 steel plate topside, for strength and ease of removal. To fit the 2 mount holes, the winch had to be mounted upside down (not optimal!!), and a welding burr/ridge inside the small top-pulley channel binds rotation, making pulley difficult to turn even under loads. Even a quick pre-ship test in factory could have revealed this flaw. Other than that, a good crane at a fair price.
Is this jib crane available with a 120V electric motor?
