A workman's dream bench. This solid, rugged top stands up to constant, heavy pounding. Hardwood is kiln dried, electronically glued, sanded to 1-3/4" thickness. Finished with a penetrating mineral oil for a durable high quality appearance. Adjustable height legs feature removable duplex knockouts on front and rear for installation of either a hard wired electrical outlet or an optional plug-in outlet that easily screws into place with no wiring necessary. Steel parts are finished with scratch resistant gray powder coat . Bench stringer comes with mounting hardware to assemble legs to the bench top.

The legs are pretty sturdy but we did add the lower shelf to increase the rigidity. The butcher block had some minor dings in it and if you want a smooth finish you will probably have to use sandpaper and polyurethane coat. We did add our own lockdown wheels so we could easily roll around if the bench if needed. -

This is an excellent product for the price. The butcher block came a little banged up from shipping, two corner edges were chipped. However, I put those edges at the rear of the table and because I was going to put the back and end stops on I felt it wasn't enough damage to warrant a return. The table was easy to assemble and my wife really likes the adjustable height and the ability to roll ingredient bins underneath. -

I love it, Solid Maple 1 3/4 inch top butcher block. Took me 3 1/2 hours to assemble base then screw in top I'm legally blind. Adjustable legs are of a heavy gauge metal and lock in place. All the parts were included shipped via UPS 4 separate packages. I drilled 3 holes through the Top one of which had use Titanium drill bit to drill through underside Metal base to install a Heavy Bessey Vice I purchased at the Home Depot. -

I had this desk in a design school studio and loved it. The minimal assembly instructions left a good bit to be desired though and the bolts used to hold the desk together do not tighten well, leading to wobbly legs. That said, the desk itself is a great height, great size and the wood used is of very high quality. I'm happy with the desk now
