I love this table. It is fold-able, so you can put it against the wall, if you are not using it. It is very straight,strong and built well. I would recommend this table to anyone.

Does the lower shelf have to be installed and is the table stable without it?

Hello Jason, The lower shelf doesn't have to be installed, but the 2 cross members that the shelf sits on have to be installed for stability. Thank you for your interest in our product!
