Quality does not match price of admission
Your review: For what this item is, it's fairly expensive, which is fine, because it should lead to an increase in accuracy and efficiency.
The problem is that the counter itself broke after pulling less than 5,000 feet of material. Since it had only been a few weeks since delivery, I contacted Global for assistance in getting it repaired or replaced. After multiple promises of a follow-up call, I finally tracked someone down after a week and was informed that I would have to pay for return shipping of the defective part.
Needless to say, I wasn't too happy about that, and was able to track down a replacement counter from the supplier directly.
Stuff happens, and I get that (which is why my rating is 3 out of 5 stars), but the real loser here is Global, because the didn't take care of the problem promptly.
We've taken our operations budget elsewhere based on that interaction.
