This fan moves a lot of air!!! Although it sounds like a jet engine, it certainly blows the air. We bought it to ventilate our attic and it's doing just what we wanted. It would be even better if it was not so loud, but guess it'll be something we'll have to get used to. -

I need this fan to operate on a remote switch, however the GFCI on the cord trips every time the power is cut. Can I replace the GFCI with a standard plug to alleviate the problem? This fan is installed in a dry location. I can also install a GFCI receptacle if needed.
