Justrite® DRUM FILL GAUGE WITH SELF-CLOSING FAUCET

Sight gauge shows how much liquid remains in a 30 or 55 gallon drum. Gauge fits standard 3/4" NPT bung hole. Zinc plated cast iron body. Heavy-gauge glass tubing is protected with a chrome-plated housing to permit use with non-viscous oils. Buna-N seals make this unit ideal for petroleum products. Comes with brass self-closing safety faucet.

Drum gauge with faucet

Your review: Most of the barrels we purchase have been used many times over and the threaded hole seems bigger on them. The recommended tape can be replace by other products.

Horizontal drain Fucet

Your review: It does the job, but I still have to put a vent hole in the top of the barrel, or the fluid flow burps and makes a mess. I would rather have a different opening valve a twist lever or screw valve that you don't have to hold open.

Works as designed

Your review: This item works as designed. The gauge is a nice feature for non-transparent drums. If you do not need the gauge, a common water hose spigot would work just as well, and would be much cheaper. It works well, but in my opinion is over-priced.
