Might try one at front entrance next year. Does keep area clear of ice and snow so that I can open my storm door out to our dog pen. The door has a dog door installed into it which the dogs exit and enter through. It gives them good footing, too.

Can this be used on a wood deck

Hello Bruno, this mat is safe for use on wood however the constant heat may discolor the wood. We would recommend placing a rubber mat beneath the melt mat for added protection. Thank you for your interest in our product.
