The tubes prematurely fail and it had an internal 10 amp fuse but draws 12.5 so that failed as well. Easy fix, just put in a jumper wire. -

Not much power at all. You have to stand nearby to feel anything. 3 feet away and nothing. My garage is detached, this heater is not going to do the job. -

The only thing I have a problem with is you can NOT get replacement bulbs. they do not carry them at any hardware store or online!!!! I looked had to buy new heater

How high can it be mounted on the ceiling and be effective? Can it be mounted on a 10' high ceiling over where the person is standing below?

Hello Douglas. Due to the unit not having a remote option and being required to be pulled by a short string to function-a 10 foot ceiling may be too high without an addition of string. A recommended length of 8’-9’ would be more suitable. Thank you for your interest in our product.
