The adjustable height legs feature removable duplex knockouts on front and rear for installation of either a hard wired electrical outlet or an optional plug-in outlet that easily screws into place with no wiring necessary. The legs is made of steel and allow height adjustment from 29" to 35"H in 1-1/2" increments. It is finished with scratch-resistant gray powder coat. The top is pre-drilled to allow easy attachment to workbenches. The base plate comes with 5/16" diameter hole for floor anchoring. This leg does not include hardware for bench top mounting. A bench stringer is needed to provide stability when a bench top is added. The workbench stringer comes with mounting hardware to assemble legs to the bench top. Priced per leg.

Love it. We reused a tabletop to build a project table in the office. My advice is to buy all the different pieces. Global makes legs, a stringer, a powered outlet for the legs and a lower shelf. -

I like these legs very much and the price is reasonable. Custom make your own workbench. I don't care for the little plug that goes in the hole at the adjustable height leg. I used bolts to secure the adjustable leg to the rest of the assembly. Purchased the butcher block top from Uline. Global wanted way too much money for shipping to my North Texas location. -

Good sturdy workbench legs! For the bench tops, we're using 2" thick reclaimed bowling alley wood and 3.5' x 8' piece weighs about 230 lbs. We did add in an "X" brace between the legs but it wasn't totally necessary. -

I ordered this extra leg unit to go under my worktable top in the center. It is a pretty large top and I felt it needed more support in the middle to keep it from sagging over time. I feel sure that it will do the job. -

How much weight does each leg support?

Hello Beth, each leg will support approximately 500 lbs. However, the overall weight capacity of the workbench will depend on the overall width of the workbench. Wider workbenches (96"W or higher) have more of a tendency for deflection, so lower weight capacities would be suggested for that type of width. Thank you for your question.
