Standoff Hex Jackscrews are made of solid steel with Stainless Steel, Zinc and Yellow Zinc finishes for long lasting durability and dependability. Consist of a long hex head atop a non-tapping thread. Commonly used for applications such as motherboard connections and composite joists, they are designed to be driven in by hand, with a wrench or with a pneumatic power tool. Hex head has an interior female screw thread and the other side is a standard male screw thread. 4-40 size screws are available in 3/16, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16, 1/2, 9/16 and 5/8 inch lengths. Sold in various package quantities.
